If you are fluent in English and native in an Asian language, you could apply for our London-Asia training contract, and build your career and network on both sides of the globe.

This will see you spend your first year in London and your second year in Hong Kong. After the two-year training contract, you will qualify with one of our offices in Asia as an England-and-Wales-qualified solicitor.

You’ll be curious, commercially minded and keen to help the world’s biggest brand names on their most challenging legal issues.

Who we’re looking for

If you are fluent in English and native in an Asian language, studying in your penultimate year or beyond at a UK university, this could be for you.

You’ll be curious, commercially minded and keen to help the world’s biggest brand names on their most challenging legal issues.

What happens next

If you’re selected, you’ll be invited for interviews and a writing exercise. These usually take place in the London office but it may be necessary for them to take place in a virtual format this year.

If you progress from that, we’ll invite you to join us for a vacation scheme – three weeks in Hong Kong, plus one in London. We are hopeful that the 2021 vacation scheme can take place in both offices, but if that’s not possible, we will look to hold this virtually.

Based on that, plus an interview and a language test, we could offer you a London-Asia training contract where you spend time in core practice groups: corporate, dispute resolution and finance.

If this sounds like you, apply now.
